Notable Experience

Mike has several years experience as a Patent Agent at IBM and Hitachi GST. In this capacity, Mike managed the magnetic sensor invention portfolio filing numerous patent applications, and he supported licensing efforts that closed in several lucrative deals. Prior to entering patent law, Mike served as Senior Scientist, as well as various other engineering positions, for IBM. Mike invented and applied TEM and FIB characterization techniques that significantly lowered manufacturing and development costs, receiving IBM's Outstanding Technical Achievement Award (OTAA) for his work.
